BEFORE THE RUNNR.TRADE PIVOT
NYRO
ROLEFrontend Engineer
I owned the whole frontend of NYRO, the Solana trading platform that preceded RUNNR.trade. Built around WebSockets through Socket.IO, the interface connected real-time wallet activity, token discovery, quick trading, and portfolio monitoring in one workspace.
01
The product
NYRO helped traders follow activity from top wallets, KOLs, and AI agents, compare token and trader metrics, and move from discovery to a trade. New-pair tracking surfaced market cap, liquidity, volume, holder counts, and security indicators alongside quick-buy controls.
The portfolio brought together active and closed positions, trading history, copy management, realized and unrealized PnL, and a calendar of trading activity. This was an earlier product direction before the pivot to RUNNR.trade; NYRO has no live public version currently.

What I was responsible for
- Owned the frontend architecture and implementation across the trading workspace, connecting discovery, wallet activity, and portfolio views into a consistent product experience.
- Built data-rich discovery tables with token and trader metrics, sorting, configurable columns, and controls for following or pausing live updates.
- Integrated WebSocket streams through Socket.IO to bring real-time data into the trading frontend.
- Implemented the frontend flows for quick buying and trade copying, including reusable trade presets and order-status feedback.
- Built portfolio views for positions, trading history, copy management, and performance, including realized and unrealized PnL and trading-activity visualization.
- Developed the supporting interface for token search, wallet balances, deposits, withdrawals, and notifications, keeping trading context accessible across the application.
